orge has more than 15 years of experience in the steel industry specializing in a wide variety of metal work including, but not limited to, bridges, California gates, and heavy structural installation. He began as a welder and quickly worked his way up to running crews as a subcontractor all along the East Coast. In 2014, he formed his own company, JMI Steel. Jorge then became a founding partner of Iriaquez Ironworks in 2016. Operating as the company’s President and CEO, he oversees all areas of installation and various aspects of the fabrication portion of the company.

Jorge also oversees a non-profit organization called Asociación Amigos De La Sabana (AASA). AASA operates in Honduras and strives to aid children from low-income families to attend school. Born and raised in Honduras himself, Jorge has a passion for helping children become educated and improve their quality of life. Steve joined the team in July 2019 with over 40 years of experience in the commercial steel industry. He started off in the United States Navy before his steel career began. After the military, he owned and operated his own structural steel fabrication and installation business. In 1988, Steve began working for Paramount Steel out of Houston in the same capacity as he does now for Iriaquez Ironworks. He oversees all in-house detailing and works closely with the In-house Detailer on each project to ensure quality and accuracy.

Chuck enlisted in the United States Navy in 1993 and worked as a Hull Technician for both
surface ships and nuclear-powered submarines. Following his service, he spent the next 20
years of his career in project management, root cause and analysis, and corrective
management. Chuck joined the Lakeway Ironworks team in 2016 and is an integral part of our
business development and acquisition. He actively maintains relationships with existing clients
as well as a vast network of associates in the construction industry.

Erma has worked with Iriaquez Ironworks since 2018. She assists Jorge with a variety of tasks. Too many to list.

Erica has worked with Iriaquez Ironworks since 2020. She has over 15 years of experience doing a variety of clerical tasks. She assists Erma and Jorge with the daily operations in the office.

Dylan joined Iriaquez Ironworks in 2022 as the In-House Detailer. As a recent graduate of Austin Community College’s Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design program, he brings to the table an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architecture as well as being a Revit and Autocad certified drafter. Working closely with Steve Plumley,

he prepares the construction documents for structural and site components on Iriaquez Ironworks’ projects.

Wilson joined Iriaquez Ironworks in 2020. Although he is a new addition to the team, he brings 7 years of experience in the field and is a certified welder himself. Wilson is in charge of overseeing the smooth installation of our structures and managing all of our crews.

Alex has worked with Jorge for the past 15 years. He started his career as a welder and installer. Now, he is a Field Supervisor specializing in stairs, railing, and gates.
